Support Calls & Advice

Violence in close relationships can take many forms. You do not have to have been physically assaulted to seek support. Violence can also include threats, controlling behaviour, insults, isolation, financial control, or someone restricting your freedom. Together, we can talk about your situation and explore what kind of help you are looking for.

You do not have to have decided to leave a relationship in order to contact us. You can get in touch simply to talk, ask questions, or receive advice. We are here to listen, offer guidance, and provide practical support if you wish to file a police report. We can also be in contact with social services on your behalf if needed.

If you have children, we can also support you regarding their situation and help you find appropriate support for both you and your children.

Our telephone hours are:
Monday–Thursday 09:00–16:00
Friday 09:00–15:00

At other times, you can leave a message on our voicemail, which will be listened to during opening hours.

All employees of the women’s shelter are bound by confidentiality – everything you tell us remains confidential. It will not be visible on your phone or phone bill that you have called us. We have no duty to report, except if we suspect that a child is being harmed. In such cases, we are required to make a report of concern to social services, but we will discuss this with you first.

If you need to talk to someone when we are not open, you can call Kvinnofridslinjen on 116 016.

They provide support 24 hours a day.

In emergency situations, call the Police on 112.
